This site was inspired by
The
Helmet Project which has an extensive collection of professional and
collegiate helmet images as well as
The Ohio Helmet
Project, which has helmet images of many of Ohio's High School programs past
and present.. These sites have captivated my interest over the past few
years and have led me to the creation of this site. I felt that the most
storied High School Football program in the state of Ohio should have it's own
historical page for fans to relive and enjoy.
The Massillon Tiger Helmet Project is a "project" and will
always be an ever changing "project". I have taken on the task of
collecting as much history as possible in order to create the images you see
today. I am in no way a historian of Massillon football, so please
understand that there may be some variety in what you see and what is the
actual real thing. I encourage the visitors of this site to inspect my
work for accuracy and notify me with "proof" of any inaccuracies they may
encounter. Without the assistance of the visitors I would not be able
to do all of what I do. I intend to credit any and all visitors that
provide accurate information that leads to the successful recreation of
helmet images. Again without you this site would not be possible.
Please understand that this project is
and always will be a "Work In Progress". There will be constant
updates made to site as new images are added or past images are changed.
